On May 3, the FiguratiF Gallery at the MaJel Rovás Centre commemorated the work of Hungarian architect István Medgyasszay with an exhibition. The Bálint Szeghalmy Architectural Foundation and the Museum of Hungarian Architecture and Monument Protection and Documentation Centre commemorated the architect born 140 years ago with a touring exhibition, with its first Slovakian venue being Košice.

The eNRA, the International Creative Community of Rovás entered its fifth year. This international group of artists, was founded by the 24-year-old Rovás in 2012; however, there were attempts to exhibit the works produced at the establishing organisation′s creative camps even earlier. The last summer camp was the eighth in a row; similarly to the previous years, it was held at three venues, for a total of three weeks, with one or two weeks of gaps in between.

Rovás even has a characteristic of eNRA – almost a definition. It is as follows: The eNRA prefers free arts and free creativity, uninfluenced by the fashionable trends or the lack of expertise. Free arts means unlimited, independent creativity, which doesn′t hide behind the label of "contemporary art" and doesn′t try to find an alibi in subjectivism.

The Young Architects′ Forum presented itself at the MaJel Rovás Centre in Košice, Slovakia for the first time with an exhibition of banners. These banners introduced the works and the members of the group.

Following the opening ceremony, a panel discussion was held with the attendees, where Krisztián Szabó, executive director of the group, Méry Hajas, Gábor Boženík and Balázs Bánó responded to the questions of the audience.

This year, the eNRA exhibition celebrates its 5th anniversary. The international group of artists, founded by Rovás was established in 2012. Since then, it has been exhibiting the works produced at its creative summer camps every year. We are grateful for the chance to use the premises of the Gallery of the Mining Museum in Rožňava, Slovakia, again.

The lost Jewish memorials, photographed by photographer Libor Cabák from Valašské Meziříčí, Czech Republic. The pictures depict once existed synagogues and cemeteries from Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia; however, also local documents from Košice, Slovakia have been added to the exhibition.
