The Exhibition of Géza Xantus opened on June 28 in the FiguratiF Gallery in Kosice.
The famous painter from a family with long history represents a specific colour. Distinctive, unique not to be confused with anyone or anything. He is tied to a place as his symbol system is understood by the local people. At the same time his work is universal as his themes are understandable and can be interpreted for everyone who was brought up in a Christian culture.
