The exhibition of Andrea Balló, a painter from Szeged opened at the FiguratiF Gallery in Kosice on 28 July (MaJel Rovás Centre, Alzbetina str. 42).
She has always liked to experiment with dark tones but lately she would like to contradict to darkness and depicting only tragedy. The virus situation and the quarantine caused a kind of rebellion in her focusing on showing a more colourful picture of her inner world.
'I am not willing to be scared, we must fight against all the terrifying things around us. I chose to use brighter colours and more light on my latest works' she said.
Krisztián Cser the soloist of the Hungarian State Opera House participated at the opening.
The exhibition can be visited every weekday from 10 am to 6 pm until August 23.
